Prosciutto-wrapped Green Beans

Makes: 3-4 bundles

Ingredients:

150-200g Green Beans, topped and tailed

3-4 slices of Prosciutto

1 tbsp Brown Sugar

Blu Estate’s Classic EVOO

Flaked Almonds

Salt & Pepper to taste

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180oC.
  2. To a pot of boiling salted water add your prepared beans and boil for 2 minutes. Strain from the water and allow to cool slightly.
  3. Separate the beans into equal bundles (approximately 10 beans per bundle). Wrap each bundle in a slice of prosciutto and place onto a lined baking tray.
  4. Drizzle Blu Estate’s Classic EVOO over the bundles.
  5. Mix the brown sugar, salt & pepper together and sprinkle on top of the bundles. Add flaked almonds to your liking
  6. Bake until the prosciutto is crisp and the almonds are golden.
  7. Enjoy as a side option to your main meal.
